I guess God wanted a late show….so he needed Ed McMahon to introduce him, John Callaway to conduct the interviews, Farrah Fawcett to be the beautiful leading lady, and Michael Jackson to be the musical guest.
Let’s face it though…each one of these people touched our lives somehow. Everyone in Chicago broadcasting (and beyond) knew who Callaway was…every person at some point has yelled, “Herrreeee’s Johnny!”, all us girls had the “Farrah” feathered bangs at some point in our lives, and everyone has danced to “Thriller” (and some even have videos to prove it…).
They were all influential, they were all talented, and whether you liked them or not, they all touched our lives somehow.
